About
Kei Urana, also known as Kanaru, is a Japanese manga artist. Urana is a fan of Soul Eater by Atsushi Ookubo, and prior to Gachiakuta's serialization, worked as an assistant under Ookubo for his last work, Fire Force, before he called her his successor. She first gained attention as a mangaka when her special one-shot manga Shikidou won first prize in the 103rd Newcomer Manga Award conducted by Shonen Magazine.
