Birth place: Hamamatsu City, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan Takuma Yokota's manga submission Senka ni Saku won the honorable mention award in the 29th Jump Treasure newcomer's manga award. He was previously an assistant to Hiroshi Shiibashi, working on the Nurarihyon no Mago series, for a year and a half.
