Yuka Nagate (born July 16) is a Japanese manga artist. she is a woman She is from Aichi Prefecture. She graduated from the Department of Fine Arts, Faculty of Education, Ibaraki University. She made her debut with "Kyouba", which was selected for the Kodansha Newcomer Manga Award. Her masterpiece is "TENKAFUBU Nobunaga", which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha). She is characterized by her gekiga-style drawing style. She uses the pen name Yuka from "Gift±", which began serialization in March 2015. Since then, she has said that she uses different pen names depending on her style. While she was in college, she worked as a manga artist's assistant for about half a year. "TENKAFUBU Nobunaga", which she started serializing immediately after graduating from university, ended up being serialized for about two years. Her next serial, "PEAK", ended in a short period of time. After that, she fell into a slump and took the opportunity to study abroad in New York in 2003. She returned to Japan in 2006 because it was difficult for her to obtain a visa to work as a manga artist.
