Synopsis
One morning, advertising man Muroi wakes with the married woman he is having an affair with, Yoshiko, to hear the stunning news that a Japanese tanker was sunk by Indonesian guerillas—the tanker captained by Yoshiko's husband. The SDF dispatches troops to intervene in Indonesia, and before long, Japan has a Ministry of War, a revival of conscription, and is beginning to return to how it once was...
