Synopsis

In the Cakeverse world, secondary traits are managed just like family registers. There are "Forks" who latently lose their sense of taste, and "Cakes" who are innately delicious-tasting humans. Cakes and Forks are bound by contract as partners who provide bodily fluids. Andou, a Cake who works at the city hall, meets Sabitsugu, a Fork, through his job. Andou suddenly feels his heart beat faster at the piercing gaze that seems to devour him, while Sabitsugu locks onto his delicious cake constitution and waits for him after work, day after day, as if courting him.
