Outo no Hazure no Renkinjutsushi: Hazure Shokugyou Datta node, Nonbiri Omise Keiei shimasu began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou, where 271 web chapters were released from August 5, 2020 to June 11, 2022. A revised and illustrated version of the series was published by Kadokawa from February 10, 2021 to March 10, 2023 under its Kadokawa Books label. The series has been published in English as The Tale of a Little Alchemist Blessed by the Spirits by Seven Seas Entertainment under the Airship imprint since February 3, 2026.
