Synopsis

Gensaku Kaishi Mae ni Botsuraku shita Akuyaku Reijou wa Idai na Madoushi wo Kokorozasu began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on January 23, 2020. Kadokawa released a single-volume novel version with the subtitle "Otome Game? Nani Sore, Majutsu Yougo?" (乙女ゲーム? 何それ、魔術用語?) of the series on July 29, 2020. On February 28, 2023, Kadokawa re-released the initial volume under its Famitsu Bunko light novel label with new illustrations by Gekka Uruu.
