Synopsis
Shoujo Nemu tells the moving story of Nemu, a young girl who dreams of becoming a manga artist. Even though people couldn’t tell because of her shyness, Nemu possesses extraordinary talent, but it’s not until her encounter with Goro, a veteran manga artist plagued with self-doubt, that she begins to realize the true nature of her passion. Background
Shoujo Nemu had one volume released in December 1996. The series was later reprinted with unreleased material in a complete volume subtitled Hirosuke Kizaki Memorial Edition in September 2001. In the postscript of the reprinted volume, former Comic Beam editor-in-chief Katsuhiko Okumura stated that artist Hirosuke Kizaki discontinued the series after deciding he could no longer work on it.
