Synopsis

The only thing Shion Yoshino has on his mind as he enters high school is to find a boyfriend. Using his outstanding athletic abilities, he tries to find the love of his life in the various athletic clubs of Midorigaoka High School only to quit when he does not find a suitable candidate. Facing mounting pressure from his old middle school friends to achieve his goal, Shion turns to the Film Club hoping to locate a cute boy there. Shion's shallow reason for joining the club is quickly chastised by the retiring club vice president, Rei Inaba, claiming that it would be a complete waste of time. Refusing to heed his senior's warning, Shion presses forward in spite of his apathy toward film production; however, he quickly becomes disheartened when no one will give him the attention he so desperately seeks. Noticing this, Inaba chides him for his naivety before propositioning Shion with something shocking: he will become the boyfriend Shion has been desperately looking for. Though Shion's elation makes him agree to the impromptu proposal, those who know Inaba's true nature cannot help but warn the first-year to break the relationship off before it ever gets serious. Unwilling to let his chance at romance go to waste, Shion decides it has to be him who changes Inaba's personality for the better—even if it seems impossible. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
