Synopsis

While walking to school one morning, elementary school student Ritsu Kodou is suddenly transported to a charming countryside village. There, he recognizes Pulsemon, the Digimon character he has been struggling to train in a video game. Pulsemon claims to have summoned him to the Digital World and insists that Ritsu becomes a real-life Digimon tamer. Ritsu initially refuses this request because he dislikes physical activity. However, he changes his mind after learning that Pulsemon wants to protect Cypress Village; its residents are cursed, unable to evolve beyond the "Child" stage. Determined to help Pulsemon achieve this goal, Ritsu supports his new partner through challenging—and sometimes silly—training. [Written by MAL Rewrite]
