Chéri, Unmei no Hito!

Synopsis

Kaoru Sakura is a young pastry chef who takes pride in his outstanding skills and good looks. As a result, his newly-opened Western-style pâtisserie, Bisous, quickly gains popularity—especially among women. But his success is soon bogged down when a nearby Japanese confectionery store captures the attention of his clientele. Unsure of what the appeal of traditional sweets are, Kaoru decides to scope out the competition himself. He finds that the long-established, family-owned store is operated by the charming and composed Soujirou Tatsugawa—who, unlike Kaoru, seems indifferent about the two establishments sharing the same customer base. In fact, he is rather intrigued by Kaoru's creations. As the two get to know each other, Kaoru realizes his business rival is more delightful than what either of their shops have to offer. Chéri, Unmei no Hito! was published digitally in English as Chéri, My Destiny! by Tokyopop under the Love x Love imprint on May 10, 2021, and in print on July 20, 2021. The Tokyopop release omits the included one-shot.
