Shiotaiou no Satou-san ga Ore ni dake Amai began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou under the title Shiotaiou no Satou-san, Kono Mae Nanpa kara Tasukete kara nanka Ore ni dake Mechakucha Amakunai? (塩対応の佐藤さん、この前ナンパから助けてからなんか俺にだけメチャクチャ甘くない?) on June 29, 2019. Shogakukan released a revised and illustrated version of the series since December 18, 2019, under its Gagaga Bunko label.
