Synopsis

Not having any friends is bad enough, but being swallowed by mysterious black sludge in the middle of class? The worst. Yijun is no stranger to solitude, until a school project plants the seed for a delicate bond with another loner, Suni. But friendship is a frustrating puzzle for those who are used to being alone, especially when one of them claims to control a black goo that only turns hostile when the host is gripped by anxiety. Background

Taste of Illness is originally a webtoon series which was officially published in book format by artePOP (아르테팝) on May 31, 2019. It was one of five winners of the Today's Comic Award (오늘의 우리만화상) in 2019. It was published digitally in English by LINE Webtoon on March 13, 2021.
