Synopsis

Even though he is discouraged by his father Shinjurou Rengoku, who is the current Flame Hashira, young and upcoming Demon Slayer Corps member Kyoujurou Rengoku is determined to follow in his footsteps. When the time for the recruit's first mission arrives, Kyoujurou is immediately exposed to danger as he encounters a formidable demon. Background

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Tokubetsu Yomikiri was originally published in the Weekly Shounen Jump 2020 #44 issue on October 5, 2020. Later included in the Kimetsu no Yaiba Rengoku Reikan booklet given to people who viewed Kimetsu no Yaiba Movie: Mugen Ressha-hen in Japanese theaters, with only 4.5 Million Copies given out. The one-shot was also later included in the second Kimetsu no Yaiba Koushiki Fanbook: Kisatsutai Kenbunroku book.
