Background

Komatta Jiisan is a web manga released on the author's Twitter and pixiv accounts since November 22, 2018, and published in print by Kadokawa as part of volume 1 on November 22, 2019. The web manga was published as doujinshi from February 17, 2019 to November 24, 2019, when the first volume was released at COMITIA 127. Official serialization started in LINE Manga on January 28, 2020.
