Synopsis

As a precocious child, Licorice suffers from a strange sense of deja-vu. On the day her father told her about her fiancé, she realizes that her fiancé was actually a character from an otome game she once played in a previous life. "I am the heroine's rival from that game? Yandere-kei Otome Game no Sekai ni Tensei shite Shimatta you desu began as a web novel on Shousetsuka ni Narou on June 9, 2013 and completed with 41 web chapters on September 8, 2013, with sides stories continuing to be published until February 10, 2016. Ichijinsha released a revised and illustrated version of the series from August 12, 2014 to February 12, 2016 under its Arian Rose label.
